Green Ontario Rebates

Green Ontario Rebates

The Residential Green Ontario Rebates was introduced in December 2017 through Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change. This program will be administered by HRAI aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). Homeowners are being offered incentives to install qualifying air source heat pumps and ground-source heat pumps, or windows and insulation. Ultimately saving homeowners on up front costs of upgrades plus lowering their household carbon footh prints.

Consumers taking advantage of the Green Ontario Rebates can visit Greenon.ca website, where it specifies the requirements that the air and ground-source heat pumps need to meet in order to qualify. Other than the Green Ontario Rebate, consumers can as well qualify for the old Heating and Cooling incentive programs.
